How to attach stuff, like a sword or sheild? help me!!

I'm kinda new her, so i may be a bit of a jerk. . . How ever, i don't know how to attach a weapon on a fx. a civilian, or something like that. I would be greatfull if you guys could help me

Yes, you ddo that with Special Effect trrigers, you can also make adummy ability and add it to an item... oh, you can search for information like this in Tutorials.
