How many hashtable is available?

As I know, hashtable is a kind of data storage, so I think it will occupy memory and cause lag or something like that if there are too much hashtable. Is there any limit in using hashtable?

I'm gonna use about 7-10 hashtables each of which stores about 100-200 data. Is it okay?

Every individual hashtable is unlimited, but gets slower when you add more values.
You can have 255 or 256 hashtables.

Also note that the WC3 process can not index more than about 2 gigabytes of ram, at which point it crashes.

I do think its between 255 to 257 Hashtables.

The limit is 256 of Hashtables.

The question is: How much data are you going to store ?

1 Hashtable can store up to 249340343 (I don't know the exact value but it's ALOT) of indexes BUT, as data is increased, so does the access time.

Therefore, you should know the scope of your data storage before applying it.

1 Hashtable can contain 10 or even 100 of spells in it as long as the index does not goes up to 8191 (ideal max storage per hashtable).
Well if it does, it's time for a new Hashtable to be created - in which it's not easy achieve that amount.
