Not very heavy, I don't think I ever had a model file without animations that was bigger than like 600~800kb.
Computing wise it is also pretty light, I never had issues running lots of polies, the polies themselves aren't as important as the number of matrix groups and bones.
If it's about computation, it's all about the amount of nodes (not only bones), matrix groups, and material layers.
The first two add lots of math calculations, the third splits render calls.
