[Solved] How do you replace the UI? (SD, latest game version)

I'm trying to replace the Night Elf UI with the Human one (and the Undead one with the Orc one). I've exported all the .mdx files in UI\Console\Human, renamed them to nightelfui.mdx etc., and imported them to UI\Console\NightElf, but nothing changes ingame. What am I missing?

Edit: ok, I see, I need to replace the .dds files in the _hd.w3mod folder. That's too bad, filesize is much larger. Although it does seem like it's compressed significantly by the map.
