How do I completely smooth out the ramps for water?

Or you can do this. It's much faster, and you will still be able to lower the ground as much as you want without having water appear when not wanted.

  1. Un-tick "Enforce Water Height Limits" in the World Editor under "Advanced" on the bar at the top of the window.
  2. Use the deep water tool where you wish to make your pond, but in a slightly larger scale.
  3. Return it to normal with the Increase Two tool, not Undo.
  4. Use the lower tool to create the effect you're looking for.

All of these steps are required for the effect.
