How can I smooth out the ramps?

It's difficult to make a nice terrain without smoothing out all the edges of the land, which stretches out into the water. Can someone tell me how I can smooth out the edges and make a smooth and continuous ramp like in Lord of the Rings Risk?

how about using the smooth tool? it depends on the size you choose, smaller one that fits the ramp, so you smooth it without changing it's high or borders.. just experience with it

Yeah all I can reccomend is poking around with the raise/lower tools (not cliffs, the blue buttons toward the bottom of the terrain edit pallete) ..there are terraining tutorials that could help you in the tutorials section.
