How do I access Presets?

This probably seems like a dumb question, but i've looked everywhere and have no idea. I need to access preset models ( all official models that come with w3) with the model editor, but I can't find where the models are. I go to Programs > Warcraft 3 but there is no Models folder. I really want to start editing the presets but i can't if i can't find them......

Ok so I need an MpQ editor, which do you recommend i get

Use MPQ editors.

Like all the other content, they are inside the mpq files. You require an mpq editor to view and extract them. For example, Magos Model Editor has one in-built. Other mpq editors may allow you to alter the mpq archive, then you should load a copy to not accidentally corrupt the original data.

The Model Editor has a built in MPQ Browser (in Windows Menu), as said. If it doesn't work, open the MPQ (either war3, war3x, war3Patch, or war3Local) manually with it, or put the Model Editor in the WC3 Directory so it can automatically be opened.
