How did Kerrigan get Raynor's gun?

In the Heart of the Swarm cut scenes, Kerrigan, already transformed into Primal Queen of Blades, got some information about Raynor’s prison with the help of a code-breaking expert and save him by herself. It is unknown how Kerrigan got the gun that she handed to him to let him kill her.
