How can you change a unit's model file to more than one other model file? For example I have a unit which can turn into a hawk if it picks up item X, or a crow if it picks up item Y, DotA's Morphling had a similar ability, so how can this be done?
(If there's coding I'd appreciate GUI code, thanks)

Thanks in advance,
aoen

There's no other way? Because what if let's say you have 10 units (like in my map) that can each put on 5 different sets of armor and all have their own stats. Isn't there a more efficient way? As well with this way, variables that refered to the old unit glitch up, as well, the unit is also debuffed from all buffs.

Damn :(. Ah well. No experience with warcraft model editing so I guess I'm screwed ^^.

EDIT: Thought I could maybe somehow make spec effect attachments attached to the chest of the unit or something, and since my alternate model files are all bigger, the spec effect would overlap the old model file.

Ya I know. Well, I've tried it before, they played, they just played kind of weird, when I experimented with combining a dragon hawk and a footman together, the footman looked like it was walking on top of the dragon hawk lol.
