This is something really great I found courtesy of Wired.
It's an online soundbank, complete with snyths, rythm and drum machines, as well as a sizable number of effects pedals. The equipment is linked together through virtual cables, and is set on a desktop that you view, making it far easier to work with than traditional loops-based audio programs.
It's totally pro, even though it's just a demo. I'm not sure how to save your work, but I think it only comes in some strange Java format. More features are coming with the next release.
Till then, this is something way fun just to mess about with.
It's entirely Java/Flash based, so it runs out of your browser without installing anything.
