History Brush Problems.

I don't know where else to post it.
My history brush in photoshop won't color anymore, it only colours white and no other colors :S. How do I fix this?
I've already tried Image > Mode > RGB Color.

Edit: Actually now It won't even paint anymore -.-

I once had a really weird problem with my paintshop program. After looking for a solution I found a suggestion (if I remember correctly) to shift-click the program. It starts the program and erases your preferences. It is like starting the program for the first time. My problem was solved and I reset my preferences. I don't use photoshop so I don't know if it will work for you but you can try it as a last resort.
