Since thousands of years, a conflict has been raging between the east and the west. Long forgotten the cause of it, but meanwhile escalated into a blood feud between the nations of west and east...
Fight for the East or West Forces, to bring complete destruction upon the hated enemy, as General or Commander. As a general you will create armies to smash your opponents, and as commander you will fight in the heat of the battle and bring havoc on the battlefield.
There are 10 Players in this game, 5 on each team. The 1st and 2nd slot of each team are Generals and most important for the survival, spawning the armies into battle much like in Tales of Kalthazar: Boreal Conflict or Civilization Wars. The 3rd, 4th and 5th slots of each team are commanders, who are heroes, which support the armies of the West and East, and can hire their own soldiers or fight alone in battle.
During the game players will advance in time from the Prehistoric Age, over the Medieval Age, to the Industrial Age, gaining new Heroes, Powers, Units, Buildings and options.
Heroes have the option of changing teams once, by typing -swapteam. This can be used to balance teams out.
Take part in this epic battle between East and West, bringing havoc over the enemy or failing miserably...

Historic Wars v2.10 is the first game to combine Tech Wars,Civ Wars and AoS in one map! With nearly 300 units and abilities, this map is an epic scenario in which players can play AoS or Tech Wars!

This is a very interesting and fun game with many inbalances (such as mass archers) and the top Middle land is very unblanaced because of the valley where archers can just pwn anything from...
Hi, I am going to release v1.20 (huge update, maybe ill just call it v2.00) soon, and itll introduce 6 new slots and heroes and all kind of new stuff. anyways i see already 500 people downloaded it, can i get feedback? i would really like to know what you think!
Alright, I just made the hugest update ever! If you played any version before, this is gonna shock you! 6 NEW SLOTS, 12 HEROES, some new units, options, stuff, check it out!!!!!!

thx, but i dont think it'd be possible to make it available for RoC...
also its only 40% based of Civ Wars, since all players play water and land at same time, dont need upgrades and proceed to the next age at the same time, aswell as the biggest of all differences is that you have 6 players playing heroes to support troops, which in this way i haven't seen in any other map...

Great map, the only thing that's annoying that new players always block the passage from the well to the river on the middle lane with a shipyard, so resurrecting heros struck there until the player destroys the obstacle. Could you please change it somehow so they couldn't?

I am sorry, I was working on a new v3.00 since a long time, but at the moment I am too busy with Paired Mapping Contest #3 and my new map: Advanced Wars to finish v3.00.
V3.00 will be released earliest June.
Great map, I enjoyed it very much. I found a bug that you might want to look into. The hero using the blademaster model's skill, phantom parade, is broken in the latest version. When you cast it, your hero disappear for a second then appear at the targeted location without any phantom created.
that bug is known to me and i do know how to fix it easily, unfortunately i am very busy atm and do not have time to create the newest version in which all heroes have improved balance/spells/playability
as i can see that many people enjoy this map i will try to create a newer version as soon as i can which wont be too soon.
please do NOT play AWA yet. I am working on it and I would really prefer people not to play it unless you see me hosting it as a test, since it's supposed to be a big surprise with many cool features, etc...
Sorry to say it, but this map is long dead. Remake may or may not happen in SC2.
I wonder why it is not working in v1.24, because I am pretty sure I didn't know JASS when creating this map, thus it shouldn't screw up.
