Full Review Emerges
First off, sorry my review took very long. I hope you'll like some feedback after all this time.
Okay, so Highlands plays pretty much a generic melee map, more so, it is flawed. I would like to point out simple errors on melee maps and believe me I did this back then; the boundary around the map, be sure to make a cliff as a wall otherwise using only trees around it will look pretty ugly once its cut down.
Would say that the terrain was pretty disorienting because of some of the parts are messily 'Noise'-d try to avoid using that tool, it keep thing awfully uneven especially on flat surfaces. Easily remedied by using 'Smooth' tool though. Also, the Waygates has a pretty nice twist, having you teleported under the designated portal rather on it, this is intentional right? Keep in mind try using colors to match up Waygates, as off now, its pretty confusing having different colors in each waygates, as of now you're using Purple=Teal, try making it Red=Red/Blue=Blue on a different sides, it would be pretty tactical if you make it teleport into a vertical slant, example; current purple color waygate should teleport on blue because its farther for the player on that position to reach the other dude on the blue, very important for FFA matches.
More simple mistakes are spaces between trees and lacked of doodads in some of the sides. And lastly reduced creeps on the mid, if you expect to take them down with your whole army on a late game, good luck with that
It's pretty generic, flawed, and pretty fun to play. There's a a many room for improvements in your map but nonetheless its symmetrical and fair.
2.5/5 from me, happy mapping!
EDIT: Also, since this isn't really a melee map without the cross swords logo on the number of players. Would really suggest to utilize making it a fully custom melee with a different terrain, otherwise, you'd stick into the 'standard' melee map like I tend to do since it gives more feel of a melee map.
