could you explain further? do you mean that these are the properties that you want to edit? bouncing arrows would be created by basing the spell off chain lightning and then changing the model file for the lightning to that of an arrow. The animation would look crude because it wasen't originally designed that way, but it would work. The splash variable is located near the attack properties when editing a unit. You can change the radius or area of effect, which would be the splash.
from what I got from it, he was asking how you could make arrows bounce from target to target (moon glaive, chain lightning) and how to edit the splash radius of a units attack.
Agreed. aS WELL, yes, look at the modelling tutorials. if you want to make your own, look at some tuts on how to make models, the best one being from scratch to snuff. if you just want to import the models into your map, look at a tut for that.
you know: 1. A unit shoot a ranged shot. 2. A unit got hit by the shot. 3. the shot goes to an other enemy unit and bounces like that like 5 times. Got it?
Yes gmax is the BEST free modelling program you will ever find ANYWHERE ever. That is my firm belief in GMAX. Anyway, i'm pretty sure you would base the spell on moonglaive, so it would have the bouncing properties, but you would change the model file to whatever you wanted the projectile to be ( a arrow etc). I'm pretty sure this would work but I haven't tried it first hand so I really can't say for sure. Anyway, Grammar FTW!
Also, ive downloaded GMAX now, but i dont get anything?!?!? ive created a green skyscraper which is very ugly. but anyway ive imported it into world editor with the import manager but i cant use it!!?!? i hate that! HELP
