Hey all! I'm a wee bit of a noob when it comes to Modelling, but I've recently made something that I'm quite happy with that I'm going to use for a project and may even attempt to upload here, but I've got a teeny tiny problem I was wondering if anyone could help solve.

Basically, I took Ujimasa Hojo's version of the Hellscream model, just to make editing easier and all that, removed the usual axe and the hero glow it usually has on it.

I replaced the old weapon with a modified version of the Pit Lord weapon, and imported the geoset with the Hero Glow as well.

Now, I'm fully aware that the planes with the weapon glows are going to show as 2D in the model editor, that's to be expected, but when I finally finished the model and imported it in to give it a test, the weapon glow planes are still showing up as 2D! They're not "moving" with the perspective, they just show as flat discs of glow XDD

If anyone could suggest what might be the issue, please let me know. If anyone needs the model to take a look at it, I'd also be glad to provide it.

Make the bone the glows are attached to camera anchored.

1. Open Mdlvis and open your model
2. Go to sequence editor
3. open the Bones tab
4. Select the hero glow plane vertices ( should be four points)
5. Create a new bone in the center of it ( if you have the four vertices of the hero glow plane selected, then it will be automatically moved to the middle of them)
6.1 Attach the vertices of the hero glow plane to the newly created bone
6.2 Check if the hero glow plane is attached to another bone, if so, unattach
7. Save model and open it in Magos
8. Go to the Node Manager and right click on the bone you created in Mdlvis
9. Select Edit node and tick the box 'camera anchored'

This should solve the problem, if not, then attach the model here, please

Ah. I don't even have Mdlvis XD I do all my work in Magos, Vertex Modifer, War3Viewer and a couple other Oinkerwinkle tools like Geoset Merger and MdlxConv. I'll take a look at getting Mdlvis before I work on any future models, but for now I'd really appreciate it if you could just throw this thing together real quick just to get it done.

Camera anchor os something i never heard of but the effect sounds like something else i know, call bilboard

In Magos, it is a box to tick right under the billboard stuff. As far as I know, it will make SFX for example always be ... camera anchored, so they don't change their angle.
