Help with uploading/ deleting maps

I used to update resources which would replace the old map with the new one. Now, however, I have only found how to add a resource but still can't figure out how to remove the old one. I looked at other threads that were talking about the new site and how to update the previous resource without anything concrete. Seems like it should be easy... Why can't I find how to only update a previous map while removing the old one? Any help would be appreciated.
