[Trigger] help with trigger to make unit ranged

I'm trying to make it when a unit picks up a bottle (item), that their attack will become ranged and the attack will have a missile model, which I'm trying to do by editing an item ability (back arrow) but I can only get that to work when targeting air units

trigger wise this is what I've come up with, but it's not working

any suggestions on how I can get the trigger to make the unit ranged, and how to add a missile to the attack?
 
I have an idea! Find two item abilities, one that extends range (I think there is one that does this somewhere) and an orb efect. Now change the art on the orb to an arrow so when it shoots it shoots an arrow. Chang ethe range adding one to whatever you want. Then, you can give the abilities straight to the bottle, or add it to the unit everytime it picks up a bottle. The onlyproblem is the range adding ability....
