Well the thing is self explanatory, I am making a map, and I need some spells, however, I suck at making Jass spells from scratch, but I can modify them.
The basic thing for my map, is that it includes Video Game, Anime, and Comic characters. I have most of the stuff I need so far, and I am not using any custom models, aside from the odd attachment, this brings faster loading, and has more space for more units. The map is kind of like an Aeon of strife map, footman frenzy, and a hero arena fused into one. It will have environmental hazards, like spike pits, and blade walls that you can knock people into (Seems like a fun idea). Some other stuff is still kind of unclear right now, but that’s all I am going to say for right now, until I get the beta done, then I will post what I have. Currently I am focusing on the hero part.
For my map, I am using vexorians spell system, and spells that use the JESP standard, so It would be awesome if you could have the spells written that way. Also, yes I have used the search button, and looked other places.
I will give credit in my map. All skills are hero spells, and be modifiable like all spells in the JESP standard.
'Zeal'- Rapidly attack enemies within 250. A total of 3 attacks per spell level distributed randomly, one at a time to enemies within range. Each attack deals 50 damage. Activated like fan of knives. Remember this would be JESP, so damage, range, number of attacks, and simultaneous targets (I plan on having a variation for Dante, which is the same, but attacks more times, does less damage, has a higher range, and hits 2 units at a time) The best example would be Grave's Cerberus Flare in the Anime Fight map.
'Bloody Spear'- You know scorpions attack from mortal kombat? It's like that.
Deals 100 damage per level, and drags the targeted unit back stunned.
I plan on using a variation of this spell for Gordon freeman, if anybody wants to make it- in which it has the same function, but can also target objects, instead of stunning, it 'holds' the hero in place for 1.5 seconds per spell level, suspended in front of Gordon, the unit moves with him- essentially units/objects can be used as a guard against some abilities, and also be forced into hazards, or fired into hazards. Basically, an ability would be added to Gordon that will 'shoot' the target of the spell in the direction, dealing damage to the target, and those in its path (Damage should be minimal).
Minigun- Basically fires a bunch of 'bullets' in a cone shaped spread for a period of time. I want the hero to be able to move while casting, as I could easily modify the inferno spell that I have for a stationary variant, but that would only be if nobody feels up to this one.
'Reverse Gravity'- Lifts the unit up, then slams the unit down, dealing 120 damage per level plus stun.
Shun Goku Satsu- Basically, like a 'dash' attack, but comes out rather slow, with kind of a blur effect. The first unit that the attack hits, regardless if it was your intended target, is attacked 15 times for massive damage (Survival should be rare, probably 250 damage per hit should be good. (Preferably with 15 rapid attack animations (Should look almost like a blur), with the option of switching what the animations are, and make the animations random I possible, I’m not sure which unit I’m going to use for Akuma yet).
Shredder- Based off the gun from the Turok series. Basically a bouncing projectile with damage dealing explosions on each bounce (Not like chain lightning- that would be my emergency option). I would also like it to bounce off walls and other obstacles. Another version of this, that I would also like, would be to have the projectile 'shatter' on the first impact into a bunch of other smaller projectiles, which then bounce (and could be altered to shatter too), Ideally the second version should deal a very small AoE as to only effect one target) I would also like the amount of projectiles shattered to be customizable)
I could probably code these myself, but it would take allot of hit and miss exparamentation with the caster system, if I get it at all, For all the spells, these are kind of the ones that I would have the best odds of success. Not necessary, but welcomed, as they would add some character.
A dash attack with knockback. (knockback to those encountered and those at the end should be variable, but also editable)
A 'blink' attack with knockback. (warp to the target, and knock them back)
FALCON PUNCH!!!- Basically just knockback with fire effects, If somebody could get the casting unit to slide back about 50-75, then move forward 100-150 while playing an attack animation and knocking those in front backwards, it would be awesome)
Final Falcon Punch!!!!! (Captain Falcons Ultimate inspired by this clip on youtube- http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=FFtw7qW7Vcw. Basically a leap attack with a warstomp at the end with a flamestrike effect. I can't
seem to alter the size of the flamestrike, so threes a small flamestrike with a huge aoe. If you could alter the flamestrike size, or maybe add a bunch of explosions, flamestrikes, ect within the aoe- about 800, that would be great).
Last but not least, If you would like to suggest some character Ideas for comics, anime and manga, feel free to give their name, and spell ideas. Preferably list what you want their attacks to be. Preferably just list the main protagonist for the anime/comic/video game. People who come up with a spell will most likely have their idea implemented if they complete one of those spells listed above, as if they are completed, I can do practically everything I have thought of so far. Also, I would like to note, that I would prefer you guys to not post character ideas until the above spells are finished, unless its a new spell Idea that you can program in Vexorians JESP yourself. After those spells are completed, and I have finished the beta, I will then be open to more suggestions. (Heck, you could make them yourself and send them to me if you want- as long as they adher to the JESP standard, and vexorians spell system, I will probably use them If I like their incantation better than mine if its a duplicate- also no custom models- makes stuff easier for me, but at the cost of any possible experience with these triggers that I may get. I would learn better through a video tutorial, or if I was shown how to do this by somebody in person)
