Help With My Models

Hi there, i'm brand new to modeling and have really only turned a few models into ghosts, but for some reason whenever I save them as a .mdx (i'm using War3 Model Editor) and import, the model always just shows up as a big green-and-black-checkered box. Can somebody help me with this, please?

the model doesn't work, that means the code is fecked up somewhere
or, and more likely, you put the wrong texture paths in the import manager.

I need to import a texture? It doesn't just use the texture built into the game?

Here's the best trick: Begin to upload them onto this site, then once it asks you for the textures you need, find the red ones and import them into your map. That's what I'll do when testing a model.
