I have been working on this FOREVER. I can't get it to work.
While I was looking around I found a little map called Log House creation, or something of that sort. Anyways, it had all custom models and textures and one of them was a wood floor, just a small square wood looking panel.

Heres a Picture of what it looks like:

So, I decided, during a game I was making, that I want this panel to use as custom terrain, because there are hardly any people who make custom terrain. I wanted to make these panels different colors for the game I was making, multiple colors. When I tried changing the tinting it would look horrible because the default color of this panel is brown. I tried do find a way to change that and I came across the program War3ModelEditor and Warcraft 3 Viewer. I tried using these programs to change the color of the panel and I did get it to work... Well, at least in the editor and viewer. When I imported the new panel it didn't work. I restarted World Editor and it still wouldn't work. I keep messing with it and I STILL can't seem to get it to work.

This is what I came up with:

Though it is my first ever time using these programs and ever modeling or skinning, I can't seem to find the problem.

I was hoping maybe another modeler/skinner would either tell me what I'm doing wrong or do it for me perhaps?

Attached is the Tile I made named, "TileWhite.mdx".
Also Attached is the panel named, "Wood Tile.mdx".

Also, I'm not sure if I'm in the correct forum section, sorry if I'm in wrong one for this.

Thanks!

Why don't you extract the ground texture and change on tile?

See, I don't know what that means...
I just started using this today.

I might know what you're talking about though.

I Tried replacing the White texture with the wood panel texture but I don't know how to do that either... I'm import the white texture but when I remove the Wood texture I don't know how to make the White texture go on the model.

cant you just change the skin of a tile???

I would try but I guess I don't know how to, but that is what I'm trying to do.
I don't know if Warcraft 3 Viewer can change it but if it can I have not found out how.

But I did see in the War3ModelEditor a texture manager but when I import a texture into it and remove the texture the model is using, it wont use the new texture I imported and I looked through everything trying to find out how to make it use the new texture.

Heres a picture of it:
