Help pls! Damage of Hero

Hello there, i have a map which is under development, i am planning to replace the default 'attack' to 'ability attack', my problem is i want the Hero's ability attack to be exactly the same as in the object editor.

Also, I would like to create a 'sound' of that attack when hitting 'a target', not when hitting 'nothing'.

You need a damage detection system for that. Whenever a unit takes damage and the damage source is a hero then play the attack sound.
 
  • Events
    • Unit - A unit Is attacked
  • Conditions
    • ((Attacked unit) is A Hero) Equal to True
  • Actions
    • Sound - Attach "something sound" to (Attacked unit)

i already tried that, but it doesnt work since i have an existing background sound in the game, anyway I already solve this issue, I go to the object editor and put a sound in it.

my problem now is I cannot get the attack ability right, it cannot hit the targeted unit.
