Buddy, I recommend you to read the tutorial section, look at 3D Modeeling Tutorial, there should be some useful tutorial there

IMO you should study the basics of modelling in Magos, not directly creating models from scratch.

use gimp/photoshop to scratch paint textures. mdlvis has a uv map editor which lets u wrap the texture onto the model. http://www.hiveworkshop.com/forums/...edition-creation-animation-uv-mapping-179193/

You can't wrap a model without unwrapping it using any model creator software aside from mdlvis. Maybe, you can but it's veeery tiring and sooooo difficult.
