Help me pls, i cant open TGA files. im using gimp..

Did you try using Irfanview? Then convert it into JPG or something.

I do it through wc3 viewer and I encountered no problems at all. Did he try converting it more than once - to see if problems persisted or not

I just renamed it, i deleted blp and changed it to tga hehe

i tried to save it as a tga file using wc3 viewer but it wont work, so i renamed it to .tga instead and it was converted

Imageconversion doesn't simply require changing the file extensions.
That'd be like a changing a movie's cast by simply retyping the credits.
You'll need to open the blp and save it as tga because right now, it's still a blp but with the wrong extension.

Did you honestly expect that to work... It is like saying that a flower is a child, it will still be a flower.

.blp -> formatted like A
.tga -> formatted like 1
Both are completely different from each other.

You need a converter that can understand A and produce 1.

also, wc3 viewer has a convert tool in itself that can convert .blp to tga and vice versa...

indeed. Just open WC3 Viewer and then in the top bar hit Convert Files and choose the option starting with "BLP ->", then find your .blp image and you can save it into BMP/TGA/JPG file.
