Tutorial: how to change unit attack amount
Requirements: Eye balls and a functioning brain
Created by Wrda for dumbo people

It must be very hard to check the words "combat" and "attack" and "damage" in object editor, which are repeated almost like 30 times. Not to mention you can literally ctrl + f to find what you need.
Tutorials about how to find world editor and creating a shortcut on desktop and opening it is pretty normal, since not all people know how to do that, specially 12 year old kids, they exist to make it child-friendly.
Now you who knows how to find it, open it, register in a site but completly unable to find something so basic as modifying attack damage is absurd.

@Wrda ironically it is you who is not using your eyes. The OP knows how to change the values but doesn’t know the formula for base and dice (which they honestly could just google because that information IS out there).

Literally imagine you are rolling dice to get the damage amount. The range is:

Min: Base + (num dice)*1
Max: Base + (num dice)*(sides per die)

is okay guys i found how to modify with damage calculator but hte problem is that when i type base damage 14 side per die 2 and number dice 7 to obtain 21-28 in game is 21-34 or something i am still confusing the blizzard staff should have done a more simple thing like damage 1 = and damage 2 = but no instead or that there is some creepy dice system

If you want 21-28 dmg then its base damage 20 number of dice 1 and sides per die 7. It's pretty simple once you understand the formula.

I've wondered about this design choice myself, and have come to the conclusion that the decision was made based on the upgrade system, which works by adding dies to the units.

It makes it easy to apply 1 upgrade to many units using only a single value.

What I don't know is if the game actually runs the dies as specified. Like, 1000 dies with 2 sides... is that a random number between 1000 and 2000, or does it actually generate 1000 random numbers between 1 and 2?

All in all, odd stuff.
