Secondly, you import anything custom into your map by using the import editor. It is at the top of the screen, on the right, and looks like a silver box with a green arrow going around it, or something simmilar (havn't used the World-Editor for ages). Anyways, you click on that, then press Ctrl+i and go to the folder in which the thing is stored in. Because you are thrying to import a model, once you have imported it, double-click on it, click the check-box that is in the window that comes up, and remove the "War3imported" thing from the front of it.
Even if you SUCCEED to unprotect the map, DotA's trigger will be heavily based on JASS
Which requires a HIGH knowledge about it
You'll stuck at first trigger, I know, I've tried~
lol everybody is trying to open DotA xD
Anyway, don't do that unless you have permition (which you probably don't have ^^), imagine if someone else likes your map, and tries to deprotect it. You wouldn't feel so happy huh? =D
