hi im kind of new to modding and i downloaded olofmolemans helldragon model, im trying to make an ability to get him to go from ground to air and sofar te only wy i can get it to work to my liking is if i use a trigger that has a speech command. it looks like this sort of
when player (owner of) Abyssal dragon) says text (exact match) -abyssaldragonflight
conditions: somehting about the owner of the dragon being the owner
actions: use animation for taking flight
attach animation tag
the problem with this approach im having is if i wanted to make the dragon inside a shop i cant have that trigger because in the tirggers hes selected as a generated unit, so if i delete him and have him in a tavern, he isnt going to be the ## generated chracter so the trigger wont work
now if i use the druid morph spell as base spell the only problem im having wiht it is if i leave the spell as a normal spel and not a hero spell he will spawn into the game flying and whn i use the spell he will pop to the ground to take off again.
what im wondering is a solution to 1 of these approaches i have 1 in mind but it isnt to professional, i could just have my heros selectable thru the classic wisp to circle of power thing but that is just... dumb...
how can i make the dragon use the Morph anim and Walk Alternate anim inside the morph spell without him coming into the game lying, or is there a way to set something so that when a player summons the abyssal dragon theres maybe a variable set that signifies that that is the owner of the dragon, which in turn i can use as the condition and event trigger for a player.
