Does short/long hair have any effects on your mental, psychical and/or [fill in something]? I got this question as a burden for a long long time.

Discuss.

Like here's an example:

You got long hair and long hair needs a lot of (for example) proteins, so less proteins go to your brainmass and more to your hair.

Something like that.

I dont think so. At least you won´t notice the difference, because you do not only need Proteins for your brain, but your whole body.

And even if your body would need much more proteins you could simply eat a bit more than you would usually do.

Hair is just meant to warm your head and face.. That's why it grows back after you cut it, yet if you're in a warm climate, it doesn't hurt to cut. It's kind of nature's way to say that if you're living in a desert climate, you could use a rock to chop off some of your hair or something, IMO.

I had dreadlocks, and now I have a mohawk (previously trihawk before dreads). I haven't noticed I difference in my personality, either.

It has no effect on who you are, but the hair may affect the oppinions people may have of you. Example, you walk out on the street in extremely untrimmed hair, it looks like a ball of yarn after a cute kitten. Even though you wear a neat smoking people will assume that you are a slob. Unfortunately, this example doesn't work the other way around, but you catch my drift.

if you reverse the sentence to: Would mental or physical effect your hair it would have made more sense. which also answeres your question.

Oh and long DOES effect physical things. hence the best sprinters have a lack of hair and swimmers wear caps. it makes you slightly slower :)
