I was watching Harry Potter and the Half Blood Prince the other day, and i got an inspiration. So i decided to " recreate " the scene in which snape is in front of Hagrid's burning cabin. Of course i changed it up a bit to my liking.

Tell me if you like. or dislike. Im trying to become a better terrainer so....

..did you blur that..?

other than that, looks pretty good, of course it's grossly inaccurate of the actual movie when thinking about the hut look and "harry"
the problem with most of your terrains is that they're so damn tiny. what resolution are you working on? with the size, picking out any kind of details is extremely difficult, and usually they're just so damn small.
it's a good change from your recent ones, a bit of detail will do you good

I like it.

The only two things I dont like that much is that the mountains in the background suddenly becomes black, is that the fog? If so, you should make it have a smoother transaction from the real terrain and the background. And if it is some sort of "Boundary" tile.. Then I dont understand why you have it there. The second thing I dont like is the usage of a WoW model :p Units in general tend to ruin terrains for me >.> But thats a personal thing, though.

ya the resolution on my comp is small. im gonna change it today.

and ya i blurred it once cause my computer sucks and the picture was all pixely. If you want i can give you an unblurred picture, and a blurred picture. not much of a difference. It just presents my screenie a bit better.

as for the mountains, thats the fog. it is a dark blue.

edit : Okay 2 pictures, same thing, Bigger resolution, and one is Unblurred, the other is blurred.

EDIT 2 : Removed Blurred pic for relocation purposes. I kept the Unblurred pic.

doesnt looks like anything of harry potter the hut doesnt look the same and why is that unit infront? if it is hagrids hut you should atleast make a dog and hagrid near it or atleast a model that represents hagrid and his dog.

By reading this, you can tell that you didn't even read the first post..

much better with the resolution.
with the blur, it's the same as any image edit pretty much, they're meant to be non-edited other than a quick crop, of course, editing isn't exactly illegal but the original terrain should be submitted.
imo, the blood elf draws far too much attention to be a simple part of the terrain, often problems like that, but i'd just use a smaller unit and place it a bit further away too + use non-wow
