What the... uh... is a "Gundam"?

Might want to mention it is some Asian fictional series at the start of your post. I know that and one can imply it from the content of the post however not everyone will.

This sort of post might be better made to an appropriate English Wiki, although I doubt such exists seeing how it is an Asian series.

What the... uh... is a "Gundam"?

Yes It is an anime science fiction, its about intergalactic war using over-sized mech suits that its franchises is still ongoing today, its somehow like a trend in japan about giant robots during the 1970's until 1990's. It is popular around Asia yet mostly it also hit a good spot at Western countries.

The Gundam Series is more famous from their scale model lines known as Gunpla made by Bandai, they stand from 3 inches up to 6 inches tall and special models can go up higher. Its like:

"Lego translated to Nihongo" sort of thing, I tried building one and it took me like days and horrible shitty finger pains after.

The newer Gundam series has been remolded in a more young audience friendly since the former ones has brutal story lines as to some viewers.
