I'm doing a few textures ATM and wanted feedback on them so I guess I'll just make this my gallery for critique and stuff.

The first is a villagerkid skin to be Mimiron/a mechagnome. Yes I know there is already a skin of him, but I won't release this version. I'm just doing it because A: I want practice and B: I want to use as many of my own resources for my project as I can.

The second is a reskinned Mountain giant. It's not much different than the original only because it serves the same purpose, but I wanted it to be more true to my concept. It will have an edited model as well.

I'll add the mimiron WIP to my post and the colors i used in case anyone's interested. The MG is on another pc so I'll get it up sooner or later.

PS: the villager kid is using 67chrome's gnome engineer because this internet (at work) has websense on WC3C so i can't use the unwrap pack and wc3 is not on this computer.

Update: Mimiron got raped. The wrap was all fucked and even when I fixed it, it just didnt look right. Will redo it after christmas when I get my tablet.

MG- WiP posted and updated. I know there's no details on it yet and it's boring, but I'm going to add some texture, details and other things to it after I finish laying down the base. CnC pl0x.

wellllll.... the mountain giant's wrap made my skin a fail once again. but i started over on the mimiron skin and i think this time ive got it :]

It is your job as the skinner to make accommodations for the wrap. Make it work on the model, the UV can be as ugly as it needs to be.

i like how it turned out.
he said the eyes are stretched and i said i meant for it to be that way. the wrap stretches the eyes so i made them smaller than i wanted them.
i think it looks fine according to my reference but... w/e

I'm half agreeing with you, but taking your statement further.

It might have been possible to avoid the stretching of the eye and still retain the same basic size but altering the shape on the eye away from a perfect circle.

well, i made the stag head (the skull thing wraps all fucky) and worked a lot on the robe, but i think imma redo the robe because it looks like there's too many lines. >.> fml.

that's a scar... and if you mean the reaally contrasting abs... it looks better in game... its the only way i could get really defined muscles in game.

what about the face? it can always be changed. you dont like that there is a face on the boots or how its actually done?

I don't like how it is done, I don't like the repetitiveness of this face on him and I don't like all the blank space around that face on the boots. It would be better if you would add a few more faces like that there, or get rid of that face as a whole.

Added latest wip of the Arthas skin. I need ideas for the armor, i dont like my current idea. He is supposed to be a really badass demon lord.
