Hi! I just discovered Gimp, and i would like to learn how to take out a one colored background and put another one instead of it. I tried to do it but this is my result:

Yes. Remove the old background and put a new one. I cant find a way to do it. The result looks like a ghost. Sorry. English aint my native language.
