So in my map I want a gate to be scale 2.0 that is simple enough of course but my issue is that when I make it that size how do I get that units can't run trough the sides?
You need to change the pathing map of the game. I advise exporting the pathing map it uses and resizing it to 2* is current size and then saving and reimporting it.
The end solution is you must change the pathing map. It is cause the model is scaled by 2.0 times but the pathing bitmap is still the same. It is the pathing bitmap which determins where a unit can walk and not, thus you will need to change that.
If that gate of yours isn't buildable I mean it is used more like terrain decoration! Then just delete pathing ground and use Pathing Blocker (Ground) [small or large or even ubver large if you change it pathing ground from tree or barrel to lumber mill)! That destructible will prevent ground units from running trough the sides!
