Try to use -comp {load}

What version of the game were you playing in your original character load? 1.2(7) and older you need to use -comp instead of -load since there was some mechanical changes to the game.

did you happen to change your username on battle.net at all? Capitals matter. Make sure your name is exactly what it says it is in your warcraft 3 gaias directory.

To get there for me it's:

C: drive >> Program files (x86) >> Warcraft III >> GaiasRetaliation
