I will post all my WIP's, works and concepts in this thread. First off, I have my- Ancient Arthas (Royal Guard thing). Second, I have my WIP: Pimmon (Peon Edit), and Third & Final for now: WIP- Fel Arthas.

Good news! I managed to get ahold of the War3.mpq file; however, no game. So, now I can use Warcraft 3 Viewer to take screenshots! Here are my screenshots and my update on Fel Arthas.

I really like the one with arthas in gray armor, it looks good. That blue.. whatever it is... looks horrible

Work on the grey armored arthas' hair. Make it flow with the wrap, not straight down.

EDIT: Ya- that blue thing is called a Pimmon... not my greatest skin... you could probably do better in paint. haha. Anyways, thanks for the comments.

Thanks I'm working on my Fel Arthas a bit now. Uh, anyone have ideas for the legs?

Or the fell arthas or this one? For a fell arthas I would do animal skins like the beastmaster wears, maybe?

Sorry, I should probably be more descriptive of my skins. My "Fel Arthas" is a demon/unholy creature thing. He's the one in black and red metal. You could also think of him as a chaos Arthas.

On both you should edit the faces a little. Make em look more of the skin style.

Well you coulf make his legs bare not armored.

I read your post, Fire Effect so I changed the gray armored Arthas' face a little: I added a beard. Tell me what you think, guys.

I cant really see it in the picture....From that view it looks like browish smear on his chin...

I agree, it looks like a brown blob, post the unwrap please.

Add some shading on the actual skin, not the beard, but add it near the edge of the beard, it looks like a mask.

I think it should slowly be a beard, not be sharp edged. Other wise it looks pretty good.

I was just about to complain about the beard but then I saw that you updated it. It looks much better now and actually looks like a part of the face.

It looks better now but he has a blonde beard and brown hair.

Looks good, but I would work some more on the skin for the legs if I was you. It just misses something.

MAJOR update on Fel Arthas. Check it.

EDIT- Note: Everything is completely freehand. Yes, even the face. No recolor at all. I followed I thinkm it was afro_night76's tutorial on the face.

I like Fel Arthas aswell but you need to work more on the face, the way you drew it he looks like he could take a nap right about now.

Yea the face I think is the only thing that needs some improvement
The lips look kinda funny and do a little bit of color variation in the red highlights and shadows on his face

He looks more badly sun burnt or tinted red than fel right now, thats all...As soon as you fix that I think it will look about prefect!

I updated him a little bit... Ideas for the skin (as in flesh) because that seems to be the only complaint.

Maybe try add more shadeing\colors to the skin. (As in his face)

I like the face changes but you need to complete it more, make those tatoos or what it is a bit more dark perhaps.

For the Arthas , Yes your armor looks realistic , but it also looks cheap . It is like I have pala lvl 70 in wow and with totally crap items . Try to turn these items into epics . Add more detail for them . See also this page for inspiration : http://www.3dtutorials.sk/index.php?id=79&page=3
