Formated windows and now no warcraft ..

ok so i made a hardware upgrade (ddr3 , 2gb gfx card + 4gb ram).
and windows said i had to format i lost my war3mod ...
and also my maps (8gb maps folder)..
and my wow ( i still got box and cd).

but most important i lost my war3 :c
since i don't really have my roc and tft boxes anymore so.. i lost my cd keys..
someone not playing war3 anymore that can lend me theirs? :/

You have lost paid cd keys? Ask Blizzard maybe they are going to help you somehow and don't ask for keys or cracks on Hiveworkshop. They should really gave you new keys if you lost the old keys.
 
Well, as far as I know the only thing they do is make the game downloadable to those who has a valid cd key... maybe if you have an account tied to your original cd keys, you might be able to reobtain the key... there's no harm in trying...

and always back-up files that you need before formatting, that's a given...

I always register my CD-keys in case shit like that happens, and as another poster pointed out, you need to back-up important files before formatting. Formatting removes everything on your HDD.

Not randomly. When you do a big change to the hardware you need to remove old drivers and all that. When it says you have to format, then obviously there's something that prevents windows from working normally with the current configuration, and therefore it must be reinstalled. I always format my computer when I change hardware.
