Welcome, This is a map ive just started on ive aready made a custom loading screen sadly... I donnot know how to import it onto the map :xxd: but any way ill get back to that later right now ill give you the blue print of my map so far.

Story:Very importain in alot of ways, Story makes alot of maps good, Or bad. This is the story for forgotten: You and your friends was walking home one night when you was attacked by a demonic creature when you spot a house and deside its best to take cover there
Your now entering your own hell going deeper and darker into the houses past
trying to hunt for clues while also trying to hide from the demonic creature that haunts the house.

Items:Yet another very importain subject of the game items these help you turn impossable odds in your favor ill name some of the classes of items

Healing Items: Such items include herbs, Medical kits, And bandanges.
Weapons: Could be your best chance of turning a impossable battle to a victroy for you.
Ammonation: Used with guns.
Puzzle Items: Used to sovle puzzles
Keys: Used for unlocking doors you will run across alot of these.
Memos: Contains importain infomation that will help your solve a puzzle or even win the game.
Demonic Doll: Provides protection from the demon making you become invulnable for 20 secs.
Quest items: Is needed for forgotten remains (Go down)

Note: This game is going to be slightly realistic, Your a everyday man\woman you have no skill using a gun. Meaning im giving the demon a 35% chance to block your attacks.

Forgotten Remains:These are ghosts which died in the house and cannot rest untill a task is done (Aka: a quest)

Puzzles: Im going to try to add alot of puzzles. About like silent hill but slightly diffent. many of these puzzles include runing around and geting memos or puzzle items

Abilitys:The only one with abilitys is the demon untill near the end of the game then you get abilitys, Most of the demon's abilitys are going to be triggered (Via: GUI) and even if you kill the demon he will come back, But he will take one of your friends as a sacrifice.

Credits:My helpers are...(Aly) if you would like to help on this project private message me or email

Contact Infomation:My email is [email protected]
I play on east my user name is Aly_Smith

Bumps would be nice

Thanks, But unlike resident evil its more of a clock tower game, Meaning theres only one demon (Im still wondering if I sould make him Pc or Npc) and he trys to kill you while your trying to escape, Also find out the forgotten secrets of the old and dusty house, Also how do I make doodads into walls I know how but not to sure how to make it so units cant walk though them.

The AI Idea is the best in a lot ways two main ones:

1. If you include a tutorial in English , a Chinieese person who plays it won't be able to cope with it (Or Russian/German etc.) If they don't know English.
2. Noob Demons would spoil the game.
3.AI can be hard to beat even impossible.

The Cons:

1. Players can also be impossible to kill.
2. Pro Demons will be able to win easily (or Hard depending on the mental level of the players)

Yeah the problem with making the demon a human player is that it would drastically reduce the horror element. With an AI controlled demon, you do not need to always give it something to do to keep it entertained, and it can pop up anywhere when the other players least suspect it. There could be times when a human player picks up an item, just to have the demon burst into the room and force them to scram. An AI demon would do that every time it was supposed to, but a human player wouldn't.

You could play a game with a human demon and not even see it once, perhaps because the demon is a newb or has just gone afk. That would damage the play experience and turn people off. What you would most likely end up with if you had a human demon would be a player ambling about the house til he found a player to kill, corner and kill him, then amble around again. Hardly scary, and pretty dull to play.

An AI demon could be coordinated into puzzles, moved around the map as necessary and not reduce the fear factor by typing 'where are youse guys?'. An all round better choice imo

You should make a version where you can be the demon and a version you can't be the demon. Just to keep the game players happy.

Yea i just thought about it and really I dont think it would be any fun if it was a NPC playing as the demon due to you wouldnt beable to hide from the demon because of the trigger i would use to trigger him, Sorry i havent replyed in a while i was working on it and geting screenies
