Flash Screen ?! (like lightning)

Hi there again,
is there a possible way to flash the screen of a player ?
I want to make a scene, when a lightning appears, that you will get flashed and see nothing for 1-3 seconds.
So it's possible to make it with the world editor or do I need to make a model ?

• Video - Blend in and blend out over 0.10 seconds using texture White Maske and color (0.00%, 0.00%, 0.00%) with 0.00% transparency

It is under video and called Fade Filter.
