Hello!
Some small improvements were needed to the original Stonemaul Warchief.
Issues:
  • Some of his geosets were not set on the right bones.
Updates:
  • Changed his weapon a bit to be more fit for a warchief
Installation:
To set it as the default model in your game add to path:
  • Warcraft III\_retail_\units\creeps\ogreoneheadedarmored

I cast 'Kabam' at the same time to compare the 'decay' animation.
However, there seems to be a bit of a problem with one 'decay' animation.
It is somewhat unnatural compared to the original 'decay' animation.
Once this is fixed, this model will have 100% integrity.

Ah I see the new belt/waist is not set with the same visibility as the original armor. Ok gonna change that.
Not gonna make it exactly the same as the original because that will be a pain. But it will be good :D

Thank you for your hard work.
I want the 'decay' animation to behave like the original model.

And the concept of the new ogre warchief you think is very attractive.
It's very interesting to see him holding a hammer.
Skeleton Warriors have very few muscles to lift.
If he no longer wears a helmet, disassembling his heavy armor will further strengthen his character.

Ok lest see if this is going well. Seems that for me in RMS the animation was looking ok, but I think I tricked it.Can you check it out?

Personally, I would like to share my thoughts on the ogre model you are pursuing.
I think the model that best describes the goblin is in the photo.
As a strong melee master, strength and stamina prevail, and it is a little far from the civilized world.
They are well known as mercenaries, so the sophisticated weapons and armor of the regular army don't seem to go well together.
I think this is a very important ogre personality.

Well in the begining ogres were considered VERY stupid but they are not true they are can not be considered smart but still I prefer to respect them. High ranking ogres (warchief/warlords) have some better armor then regular warriors. These are the one's I will upload soon.

I agree with your plan.
If you add a little imagination to your plans, you can use a better ogre model if you have a hierarchy of concepts.
Warlords, Warchiefs, Mercenaries, etc.

And if time permits, please let me know how and tools you use to modify your model.
I will try as many as possible, and through this process, I plan to edit a highly useful derivative model.
