First Texture Ever

First texture I ever made:

1. It looks quite weird. Can't see what it is :S

And it is not seamless, meaning I can see where each square ends, which makes it pretty much unusable

That's cause you don't have a different tile there to show how it would look like when mixing tiles. Its just a random tile i made with a couple of filters and some editing with paintbrushes.

Then you didn't make a texture. You compiled some filters and spilled some paint on it. Also, the 'compilation' lacks seamlessness. Work on that.

I didn't spll paint. I put it were needed to make the texture look like that. The filters were to recolour and to make it a different style.
