My First Ever Skin (No Recolour)!

Right, this is really my first ever skin, it has no recolour (except the black). He isn't finished yet so you know. Heres what I have done so far. Updates to be made!

Its ok, nothing wrong with it but its too hard to see. It just looks like you made him black.

Well, if you haven't noticed, I have only does his armour, weapon, and eyes+mouth. So I might just do something... "Fishy" (Hint Hint) with his body. I use Gimp right the way through Odin.

Update: Got Snappy with the armour on him.

His mouth looks slightly retarded, anyone got any tips?

Heres an update:

No the green stuff on his new Axe Of The Seas isn't mould, it's actually Blood of a sea creature of some kind. Maybe a hydra. Still no progress on the mouth, I need expert help with that! Also if anyone can teach me how to make Scales or even link me to a tutorial that'd be fab! Also need to know how to alpha stuff out and add teamcolour with GIMP!

Ya wanna know how to make scales look at my Aquarian skins
What I did was take the base Naga skin, find a plain part of the scales
And make a pattern outta that

Well then make a batch of scales yourself. And then CnP those. Easiest, quickest, and probably most efficient way to do it
