I am going to be honest. I didn't like it much, and there things that to my eyes seem wrong, which i will extensively analyze below.
This thing, is totally out of place, it is low def, and it looks really bad when the camera is too close to it. I would suggest to remove it.
What are those bubbles doing on the ground man? They are out of place, and they too blueish, did you tint them? Anyways they shouldn't be there. If you wanted to fill the road with something, you can try some rocks, some lamps, stuff like that!
The color of those trees it really doesn't fit the picture... or the backround.. they look too blueish, and it doesnt fit the picture.
The grass, enters the rocky road. Which for me, its a mistake. How can grass grow on rocks?
Ok, now for this. It is too sharp. What do i mean by that is, that in the whole path we see, there is no fog, and suddenly, there is a fog wall and we dont see a damn thing behind it. I don't know if it was intentional but i just didnt like it. Nor the fact that i dont see any trees/plants etc fading inside the fog.
If i see right, these are some tree branches? But why isnt there anything else inside there? I mean it would look way much cooler, if there were stuff appearing, inside the fog, very smoothly and fadely..
Empty spaces. Pretty much self explanatory, in many of them just terrain grassy appearing, in others big gaps in the trees, when there are trees stucked up on each other, you could seperate them to fill the gaps.
I also didn't like the grass model, especially for zoomed pictures, you can see at the right of the picture, where it just looks awful..
Personally i don't like those tree models also, i believe there are much better inside the UTM..
first and foremost the problem is the flatfish ground and poorly chosen textures. UTM actually has some okay stuff if you peek inside it.
get comfortable with which textures look good in different lights and angles.
It looks okay but! I have been told that textures shouldn't be visible up close as they look ugly and I do agree. Also, where have you seen a perfectly flat stone path in a forest? My suggestion, remove the path and make a small river with rolling shores. After that use the "MAT" to remove the textures and then with a simple tutorial on terraining you could add reflections, that would make the terrain look a lot better. Lastly, remove the grass textures and add at least 3-5 different grass models, some less green, others greener, that should make people believe they are actually seeing grass, not green dirt. And a minor detail, make one of UTM's rocks' (preferably flat elven rock) scale to 0.20-0.10 and add them as small rocks over the ones on the dirt (or just on the dirt) so it looks more lifelike. And if you so desire, throw in a squirrel
