First person zombie map

First person maps (and third person, to a lesser extent) are really, really icky.

Arrow key movement and camera control is stiff and imprecise. Normal mouse clicking is inaccurate because moving your cursor a distance of what usually would be 100 might be closer to 300 (due to the camera angle). Mouse clicks will often find units behind or next to you, due to how click collision works. All the models in warcraft are designed for the RTS perspective, so if you want it to look decent you'll need to get loads of custom models.

It's a fun thing to make, but why would someone play a first person map zombie map in warcraft when they could go play a standalone game like Day Z (among many, MANY first person zombie maps) that have more features, control better, and look nice?

If you have fun creating this, then just go ahead.

But maybe notice there are already (well, not first-person) some 'you scavenge for ammo and supplies to reach a military outpost'-games. I think it would be really difficult for you to add unseen content ( except the first-person, never came along one) on this kind of map.
