First icon opinions wanted

Hey guys, this is my first real attempt at an icon. I didnt make it completely from scratch thoguh awell. I just want some feedback on what i could do better please

Welcome, sinners_la_b to the Hive!
I like the start of this icon, although I am getting a more "electric" feeling from it as opposed to a crystal. I'd recommend looking at pictures of crystals to get a better feeling for it. I like the overall look of it, and it seems very practical for maps of all different kinds.

It looks good, but there is nothing crystal about it. It is more "electric" like Donut said.

This is an edit from a blizz icon, right?

Yea its an edit. However dont worry all we have to do is change the name to electric shield or something and there we have it lol

I think it looks good, perhaps make a pack of 4-8 icons with an electric theme and release them?

Yea i really like the icon too same with the electric effect hope u can make more like it.
