That was pretty cool! Just one thing that you could do, if you want to>>>>>>>>>>

-You could make NORMAL and CRAZY game modes or something, where the Normal mode is the way you have it now, and crazy is with all sorts of abilities that take X turns to launch and things like that. For example, one ablilty could kill the units in the 4 squares diagonal to the caster, but takes 4 turns to cast (casting time 5 x # of turns) and only the upgraded pieces (Like golem) can kill the unit casting this ability while it is casting it. However, few units should be able to cast abilities at once. Cooldowns could be multiples of 5, because turns last for 5 seconds. So... Cooldown of ability/5=Turn Cooldown.

Just a sugguestion :D

But nice job it plays like real checkers! (without the jumping but don't add jumping.)
