Fel Reaver WIP

Modified the irongolem model and turned it into this so far..

Still needs work on the legs/feet, and a bit on the face/cage, but heres a comparison..

Wire frame? looks nice but the fingers and such seem too smooth.

its milkshape, I hate the program but could never get into 3DSMax

You can add wire frame(edged faces) in milkshape...

err not what I meant, I meant why it looked so smooth, it does that to new faces for some reason and not old ones =/

Edit: crap apparently I left on my stack sizes and slice sizes high after editting another model >< thats why its so smooth

actually it started as the War Golem model, I messed with the head and modified the whole thing, removed chunks here and there etc. and this is what I have now ><

The issue I'm gonna hit is here in a bit when I have to skin and animate it.. I can't animate, and I can skin but only basic skins into complex (aka editting skins)

Well tbh a lot of it looks like you just plopped in some primitives, which isn't a good idea.

Those cylinders you added have way too many sides.

Sansui I said I was shrinking em =p it was a leftover from another high poly model I was working on >< I forgot to reduce the stack sizes

Still haven't done much work on the felreaver, how do I go about getting an Unwrap to start skinning it?

(And would anyone take up the challenge of animating it ><)

apply a material by making a material, selecting a group and click apply. Then select some faces and go to the last tab on the top and look for something called "unwrapper" or something like that.

Fel Reavers have huge pipes with steam comming out of em'... Two big ones on his back, Two big ones beside his head, and two doubled ones right near his shoulders. I suggest getting WoW model viewer to see every last detail in action (You need WoW TBC though).... Finally from the last picture I saw his head needs to be like really small compared to his body.
