Favorite Tileset

There 18 default Tilesets in Warcraft III, I know alot of people like to mix and match Tiles to make thier own Tileset.

Some people even make thier own skins and use them to make completely custom Tilesets, but I am curious to see what everyones favorite default Tileset is.

P.S. - If I missed any default Tilesets let me know but I think I got them all... lol

I'd have to say my favorite is the Sunken Ruins tileset mainly cause I like the idea of ruins in general

Sunken Ruins, and Lordaeron Summer with some Ashenvale Forest tiles thrown in there... I'm not really good with much else .

Also I'd have to add to my first the Ashenvale tileset, love it for forests (not a huge fan of the pine tree models in the game really)

Village is definetly my favorite. The only thing it doesn't have is a nice transaction between grass and dirt, but then, Ashenvale have many ugly tiles as well.

Ashenvale wins this, altrough you might wanna change tile positions and replace the rock with Village's rock.
For an addition I add abyss.

I'm going to have to say Ashenvale as well. The "Grassy Dirt" tile is one of the best tiles there is. I usually go for Ashenvale as the base tileset and then mix it up.

Ashenvale.
The only tileset where grass looks like grass instead of green chemical chewing gum. And where dirt and grass actually mix quite good.

For Oakwood I used:
Lordaeron Summer (Why this as my main tileset? Because I sucked 2 years ago when I started the map!)
- Dirt
- Cracked Dirt thingy
- Grass (1st Grass)
- Dark Grass (2nd Grass)
Ashenvale
- Grass (3rd Grass)
- Dark Grass (4th Grass)
Lordaeron Fall
- Rocks
- Grass (5th Grass)
- Dark Grass (6th Grass... Damn I love grass)
Lordaeron Winter
- Snow
Custom Tiles
- Bricks
- Invisible Tile

I personally voted for Underground. I love the dank eeriness of its tiles and cliffs. As far as what Tileset I’ve used most It would have to be Lordaeron summer. I used it alot back when I was new to preview doodads and what not.

i like desert terrain. espsially outland sand + barrens sand

however, village fall with some ashenvale tiles thrown in is by far the best. makes for a great atmosphere.

LOL im only one to like black Cit. i like it cause of the realistic water. +tiles can make such spacy looking environments

I gotta go with Underground. It's underused and underappreciated. Granted, you have to import other tiles into it to give it some variation, but it's well worth the effort.

The close 2nd place tie would be Icecrown/Northrend.
