How do i change a unit to a hero?I have a villager...and i want to turn him into hero.How can i do this?

I've edited the villager model,but it is still categorized as a unit.I want it to be like a hero(which has a small icon of him into the left top part of the screen).

*I don't want to change an already existing hero's model and edit it again....

well do you use a worker ?
cos you can class it as a worker and then the icon will come up if the unit is not moving other than this it cant be done i dont think

What do you mean?I edited the...default Villager(Male 2).
But i want to make him a hero.He is a unit at the moment.

You can't. You need to base the unit on a hero and take the model of a villager.

Take a hero, for example Paladin and give it the villager model. //Edit, sorry didn't see that this isn't what you wanted
There is no Normal Unit to Hero conversion option.

First of all you didn't.You edited your post.
And second,that's not what i meant.

or make dummy unit and when they are selected action - select villager...

I did....Ok now another question.

Is there any way to remove the "attribute stats" from hero?
I don't want him to be either strenght/agility/intelligence.
Or maybe remove stats...

you can only set them to 0 (press shift + enter) but i think that is not what you want

only way is to make dummy units (dummy heroes)

but i think none would care much is it says 0 agility or something like that

No as you already guesses that's not what i had in mind... :/

EDIT:There is a way to change a unit to a Hero,there is a default unit abilty called Hero...this can be used.Anyway i just mentioned that in order to help anyone who may has the same problem.

Go into the Game Interface and you can change all the attribute names to nothing and change the stats to 0 0 0 and gain none on leveling. Idk if there is something in there to change it to nothing.
