This is a part of an ongoing effort to explore the possible style of faithful Warcraft 3 remaster - Warcraft 3 Classic HD.

Classic HD version of Farm, with all original animations and minor particle tweaks.

This model has following texture paths:
  • Textures\HumanBase_HD.blp
  • Textures\HumanBirth_HD.blp
  • Textures\HumanRoof02_HD.blp
  • Textures\VillageDoodad0_HD.blp
  • Textures\VillageDoodad1_HD.blp
Changelog:
  • Team color fixes*, following this discussion;
  • Changes to texture paths**, based on this poll;
  • Improved Decay animations, with ruins gradually disappearing;
  • Improved saw texture for Birth animation;
  • Various fixes, mostly sanity checker warnings.
* Team color now has a 10% of unshaded layer to make it a bit more visible at night and bring closer to units and buildings with brighter values.
** Models now have longer texture paths, relative to the originals. Example: Buildings\Undead\SlaughterHouse\SlaughterHouse.blp. This was done for modding purposes, because War3HD assets are made to replace the classic models using local files.
  • Increased resolution and quality for HumanBase.blp (probably not really noticeable on this asset, I did it for Human Barracks mostly)
  • Fixed sanity check warnings.
  • Fixed team color issues that caused the building to get tinted with team color during placement.

Thanks! While they are marked as major, they don't cause any actual bugs. In fact, they probably migrated from the original model which I used as a base :wink:


Edit: By the bye, all my Classic HD models are still "Pending", some of them for months - anyone knows the reason? Not like I care much but it doesn't make sense for me.

Your Classic HD project is definitely the art style that Blizzard should have gone with for Reforged. More along the lines of how StarCraft: Remastered just looks like the original but in a higher quality. Well done!

"Approval" has to come from a Hive team member issuing a review of the resources. My icon packs finally got reviewed as "Useful/Simple" after sitting for several months. The approval does not impact anything really as far as accessibility, just requires a Hive team member to volunteer their time to get it done.
 
As someone who uses all of your Classic HD models, Longbowman, whether or not it gets approved or disapproved should be none of your concern.

What should be is this!

Your models are a showcase of the finest art & excellence to what Reforged should have been!

I cannot wait for more always & they would make any RPG, whether it is Warcraft or not, look bloody epic.

Such detail put in every building is outstanding.
