This is a part of an ongoing effort to explore the possible style of faithful Warcraft 3 remaster - Warcraft 3 Classic HD.

Classic HD version of Arcane Sanctum, with all animations and minor particle/animation tweaks.

This model has following texture paths:
  • buildings\Human\ArcaneSanctum\ArcaneSanctum_HD.blp
  • Textures\HumanBase_HD.blp
  • Textures\HumanBirth_HD.blp
Changelog:
  • Team color fixes*, following this discussion;
  • Changes to texture paths**, based on this poll;
  • Improved Decay animations, with ruins gradually disappearing;
  • Improved saw texture for Birth animation;
  • Various fixes, mostly sanity checker warnings.
* Team color now has a 50% of unshaded layer to make it a bit more visible at night and bring closer to units and buildings with brighter values.
** Models now have longer texture paths, relative to the originals. Example: Buildings\Undead\SlaughterHouse\SlaughterHouse.blp. This was done for modding purposes, because War3HD assets are made to replace the classic models using local files.

Arcane Sanctum | Warcraft Classic HD (Model)

Awesome! I suppose this gives us a scope of what you are going to be working on? I'm curious about the Demon Gate, pretty big building. And the Arcane Observatory, that thing baffles me - are the roof parts made out of straw? They have the same "texture" or tactile material as the Human Farm, the Murloc Huts, and some other.

EDIT: I just noticed sanity checks on the file above. What are they for?
