No, but you can trigger a critical strike with a damage detection system and then multiplying it by X which sets a variable to true/whatever.
By adding a periodical trigger, you can catch when it becomes true and do stuff with it.

Another reason why this is useful, is because you can also make critical strikes with a very low/high proc chance with this :O.
In the regular editor, it's bound to multiples of 5% (5, 10, 15, 20, ...).
But, a periodical trigger? Shouldn't it just be a damage-event?
